Atlanta-based Bryant Kevin Dorminy is a leader and sales manager with years of experience. Mr. Dorminy has always been a fan of technology and how it can affect the business world, which is why he has been so successful in his career.
Bryant Kevin Dorminy started his professional career at Georgia Southern University. Here he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. This gave him the boost needed to follow his technological dreams. Mr. Dorminy’s first job was with Key Services, Inc. He started as an Installation Technician but carried many different roles during his time with the company. His roles at Key Services included Engineer, Sales/Engineer, and Regional Sales Representative. The latter role shows how time and perseverance pay off.
Following his time with Key Services, Bryant Kevin Dorminy moved on to Chatsworth Products, Inc. Once again, Bryant landed the role of Regional Sales Director – a title he would hold with several other companies, including Mohawk-CDT. In both roles, he was responsible for covering the Southeast territory, including managing a rep. agency and employees. Mr. Dorminy likewise held the Regional Sales Manager for his second most recent position at Hoffman Enclosures/Pentair. Once again, he found himself responsible for managing the Southeast territory, proving that he could monitor and manage a significant region flawlessly. During his time with Hoffman, Bryant was named Regional Manager of the year (2014).
Since 2016 Bryant Kevin Dorminy has been the Sales Manager for CommSouth Group, Atlanta. In this role, he is responsible for leading a direct sales team focused on end users, consultants, and integrators. The best part about Bryant’s time at CommSouth Group is the amount he has been able to learn about technology. CommSouth Group specializes in Low Voltage construction, such as access control, CCTV, Intrusion, sound masking, and structured cabling. In other words, this job is the best of both worlds for a man that loves sales and technology.
Every aspect of Bryant Kevin Dorminy’s career screams a passion for technology. He is particularly interested in emerging technologies in audio-visual and data centers. As such, likely, Bryant will always be embracing the latest technology. It can be expected that he’ll take the time to learn all the ins and outs of any tool handed to him. For example, Mr. Dorminy has earned several technological certifications over the years, including becoming a Registered Communication Distribution Designer (RCDD) and obtaining a State of Georgia Unrestricted Low Voltage License. These tools were necessary to succeed in his career, but Bryant likely would have sought them out regardless.
Technology is not the only passion that Bryant Kevin Dorminy holds near and dear to his heart. When he isn’t busy with work or engrossed in the latest tech, he loves spending time with his family, working with his local church, and giving back to his community. Bryant also has a soft spot for sports, especially golf and fishing. Mr. Dorminy loves to share his passions with his children and younger generations, and he has become an avid coach.
